What’s with the name?

I always wonder how people come up the names of their blogs. Some are so creative or funny or random or personal and I always wonder what the story is behind it. I thought I would start off by explaining my blog name. Let me first say that I did not originally start off with The Girl with the Juicer as the name for my blog. In fact, I don’t even remember what the original name was exactly. Something like Juicy Jess but the fact that I do not recall tells you the impact the name had, basically none! The story goes a little something like this. I began juicing fresh fruits and vegetables in August of 2011 after viewing the documentary “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead”. I was totally inspired to cleanse, juice and live a healthier life. Since then I have never looked back and never felt better. My energy levels are unreal. I swear, I rarely feel tired during the day and evening. I have never had a problem sleeping so I can’t speak to that but some of my friends state this as a benefit. I have dropped 15 lbs by incorporating a 20 oz juice into my daily eating routine and crave fruits and veggies all the time, hence I eat more of the good stuff and not so much, if any, of the bad stuff. I have personally inspired at least 15 people to consistently juice everyday and started a Juicing Community at my company that currently has 34 members. I have received funding to purchase a community juicer for us to use at work and with that said the name of my blog was created because I have become known as The Girl with the Juicer. Juicing has been life changing and you will read many more entries about it on my quest for optimal health and a life filled with love and happiness.
